Getting There: Mount Shasta is located near Interstate 5, just south of California’s northern border. Access from Washington, Oregon and California is via I-5. Alternatively, access from Oregon and Washington to the north is also available via Highway 97. From Reno, California, access is also available via Highway 89. Airline access is available at San Francisco Airport (295 miles), Redding Airport (65 miles), and Reno Airport (250 miles).
